Step 1 of 5

What are you identifying?

Start with the object—not the tag.

Your answer helps us recommend an appropriate tag format, material, and mounting method. Choose the closest match.

Step 2 of 5

Choose your product

What information needs to be read?

Choose a general format now. Exact artwork, code data, and numbering are collected later.

Step 3 of 5

Describe the physical tag

You do not need to know every specification.

Choose “Not sure” whenever you want Brightwave to recommend an option. Requested materials and blank features are confirmed before pricing.

Material

These choices capture your requirement; they are not a stock commitment. Material and blank availability are confirmed before pricing.

Brightwave laser-marks and engraves qualified metal blanks. The fiber laser does not cut tag shapes. Material, size, shape, holes, slots, and finishing must match a qualified supplier or customer-supplied sample before quoting.

Operating environment

Select every condition that applies. Environment affects the blank, finish, and mounting recommendation.

Blank size

Final dimensions must fit an available blank and the calibrated field of the installed lens.

Blank sourcing and marking

Who supplies the blank or part?
Blank thickness
Marking result

Final depth, contrast, and appearance depend on the selected material and an approved test result.

Mounting and finishing

Holes and slots must be present in a sourced blank or made by an outside fabrication process. Adhesive and magnetic options are secondary finishing operations.
